Has anyone mentioned that Corbyn failed to declare £450 of earnings?

I expect protests soon

Most shocking thing to come out of this is how little the prime minister is paid. Absolutely shocking.

Don't see a problem with this at all.

Good luck to him. Leave the jealous bitter tree huggers to it, is what I say.

Forgetting the party politics with all of this there is one thing that I seems to be overlooked.

If, someone/company has avoided paying tax it stands to reason that they will have more money in their collective pockets. This money will inevitably be spent (incurring VAT etc). It will also mean that extra jobs are created as this is additional spend on products services etc so there is additional income tax etc.

What I'm really saying is that although it is morally wrong to evade tax some of it will inevitably end up back with the exchequer.

Re: Camaron had off-shore investments afterall
The sickeningly elitist class war comments in parliament yesterday from the Tory MP Alan Duncan, in which he smeared anyone who dares question David Cameron's conduct as being motivated by hate caused by jealousy of the wealthy, and then smeared anyone who is not of the millionaire class as "under-achievers" is a very clear example of the Tory fantasy of natural economic justice.
It's absolutely clear that Tories like Alan Duncan have deluded themselves into believing that rich people like them are rich because they're virtuous and therefore beyond reproach, and poor people are poor because they're worthless scum.

Re: Camaron had off-shore investments afterall
Oh yeah Nurse, he's ballsed up for slagging off tax avoidance schemes whilst benefitting from them himself. That is amusing.

BUT, the issue here that the jealous left are ignoring as is their want is that these things are perfectly LEGAL.

Anybody who is self-employed and moaning about this, probably avoids tax themselves by the use of dividends or getting the wife to pretend to do the books for her tax-free salary allowance, or a cheeky expense claim here and there.

The issue here is the legality and lack of enforcement around such schemes and CONSECUTIVE governments have done nothing about it at all - left and right.

Therefore rather than ask why their own party didn't outlaw it and challenge them to put it in their manifesto (if everyone wants it like that cunt Dapablo claims) then it's a sure fire winner isn't it, they resort to JEALOUSY because they aren't benefitting directly from it.

Nurse, what Cameron did can not be compared to the scheme employed by Carr.

Yes, Annony, that probably is where their politics stem from.

Miserable wretches that they are.

I couldn't give a fig if he had a trillion quid in the bank. I don't hate the rich. Good on 'em. Wish I wasn't so lazy and untalented, then maybe I could be rich too. Maybe if my parents or grandparents hadn't been so lazy and untalented, I could have inherited wealth. Generally I tend to blame myself for not being rich, and don't grudge others their money. It's a good feeling, taking responsibility for your own life. It's like being an adult, not being stuck in a permanent adolescence.

The reason I am glad Cameron is getting flayed is his hypocrisy. He trapped off about Jimmy Carr and others, giving it the holier-than-thou, when it turns out he had benefited in the past from such arrangements. Plus I already loathe the bastard for his conduct re the EU referendum.

Do those slagging off the off-shore investments realise that there are some perfectly legitimate reasons for their use? And also, it is more than possible that if you have a pension or an ISA that its possibly using off-shore facilities too?

Looks like Corbyn could be in trouble for not declaring £450 of income from lectures in his tax return.

Yeh cos no politicians on the left have money tidied away in offshore accounts have they.

Another massive non story, the man is rich, from a rich family of course they have these type of accounts. Anyone with that wealth would do the same, those that say otherwise are liars who like to think they are morally superior when they're not.

It's just any excuse to have a dig. Far more important concerns than whether someone's rainy day fund is tax free. Envious cunts.
